Q1: How did you become a creator?
By mistake. I started a blog back in 2015 to hone my writing skills and it went from there. In December 2016, I took the plunge and went full-time.
Q2: What inspires your posts?
Nature mainly.
Q3: What has been your biggest challenge as a creator?
To keep things fresh and interesting and to keep up with the forever changing goal posts.
Q4: And your biggest achievement?
Being happier than ever before and the healthiest I have ever been because I love what I do.
Q5: What would be your advice to anyone wanting to become a creator?
If you love it, go for it! Don’t just do it for the money.
Q6: Your fave Instagram filter?
None!
Q7: Your fave Instagrammers?
st3v3p4ul, Brooke Ence, Sarah’s Day, Aubrieb…among many others!
Q8: Which camera/lighting techniques do you use?
I use a Sony camera, nothing special. You don’t need all the tools, you just need to be passionate.
Q9: What’s your hashtag strategy?
Don’t use one that has been used more than 1 million times, mix them up – don’t just used the same ones every time, make them relevant to your post.
Q10: The best thing about being a creator is…
I can be my own boss, the flexible hours, being creative everyday, no day is ever the same – and I get to meet some amazing people.
