Q1: How did you become a creator?
When my wife became pregnant with our first child I was so disheartened at the negative food advice out there for pregnant women I decided to create my own pregnancy friendly recipes.
Q2: What inspires your posts?
Being able to help people to take ownership of eating well and healthily during their pregnancy at a time when everyone is trying to tell you what to do.
Q3: What has been your biggest challenge as a creator?
Overcoming ‘old wives’ tales’ about what you can and can’t eat during pregnancy.
Q4: And your biggest achievement?
I’ve worked with some top brands and done some fantastic collaborations with some serious influencers. Getting my message out to a broad base is what keeps me going.
Q5: What would be your advice to anyone wanting to become a creator?
Write about what you know. Find similar, like minded people and collaborate. Don’t be too proud.
Q6: Your fave Instagram filter?
All natural!
Q7: Your fave Instagrammers?
Love Jamie Day and Selfish Mother.
Q8: Which camera/lighting techniques do you use?
None! Just my Samsung phone.
Q9: What’s your hashtag strategy?
It needs work as I’m a bit clueless – I tend to just use the same stuff!
Q10: The best thing about being a creator is…
To speak to so many people at the push of a button.
