CREATOR Q & A | 20TH DECEMBER 2019

Creator Q&A @mrs.z.w shares her story & tips

Interview by KATHRYN CANE

Q1: How did you become a creator?

I wanted to create a platform where I could share our journey of renovating our house, but it soon became somewhere to document my journey of motherhood and family life when I became pregnant. Then once my daughter was born I just loved documenting her milestones, so I could look back on the precious memories.

Q2: What inspires your posts?

My family and nature. We live in the countryside so I love taking photos outside. We love spending time outside and exploring.

Q3: What has been your biggest challenge as a creator?

Tackling the anxiety of people seeing a snippet of your personal life and what people will think. Once you get over that you don’t actually care what people think, then its great to share stuff that you love.

Q4: And your biggest achievement?

Having great followers that follow you through your journey and genuinely engage with you.

Q5: What would be your advice to anyone wanting to become a creator?

Be genuine and post what you love. If you are just in it for the likes or to get gifted things then you are not in the right place. You have to do it because you enjoy and love it. If you do then you will meet some great people along the way!

Q6: Your fave Instagram filter?

I tend to vary depending on the type of photo and brightness. @littlepaperswanpresets are great though!

Q7: Your fave Instagrammers?

My fave Instagrammers at the moment are definitely @laurenjessiewilliams, @jordan.and.hunter @throughamiseyes for their entertainment – and as for celeb Instagrammers, definitely @weanin15_

Q8: Which camera/lighting techniques do you use?

I just use my iPhone XR and try and use natural light as much as I can.

Q9: What’s your hashtag strategy?

I use hashtags that are relevant to what I am posting and ones to do with motherhood and mum life, so that similar accounts searching for these hashtags will come across my page.

Q10: The best thing about being a creator is…

You can be as creative as you want with your posts which is great. The possibilities are endless. You can post about issues and things you are passionate about and share the love on things you like. The people and friends you make are great; it’s like a little community online.
